janet is a lifelong native new yorker and former long time key west FL resident,  currently based in the austin TX area for over 16 years.  she guides professional men and women as the self-trust catalyst, author, songwriter and speaker, to rise to their truest selves.

as a survivor of the 9/11/01 event in downtown manhattan, NYC and with over 18 years of continuous recovered sobriety, janet has faced numerous life challenges, including long term chemotherapy for hepatitis C and living with PTSD, making her own transformative journey of awakening the power within one of inspiration, resilience and courage.

in may 2025, janet met Tony Child and Bill Banta, elite psychology mindset coaches and principles of Elevated Worldwide and she began studying with them and their partner, elite coach, author and TedX speaker Nicole Kernohan, where she has now concluded her advanced studies, may 2026. presently she continues to contribute and participate in their community.  

 

in december 2025, janet published her debut book on mindset and remembering who you are, where self-trust and values deeply intertwine, titled "Awaken the Power Within: you were never lost— only waiting to be remembered".  it has been widely praised, receiving many 5 star reviews. remarkably, janet has expanded into songwriting, having written songs with lyrics from Awaken the Power Within, which are available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, YouTube Music and most streaming services!

another dimension of janet's gifts is decoding family history DNA mysteries and proving numerous paternal lines of various families using male YDNA and autosomal testing.  she created and administers private DNA projects and social media groups by avocation on various genealogy platforms focused on family history and genetic genealogy.  janet is recognized as the leading genetic DNA researcher for her massengill massengale family, worldwide!

she is a DAR (Daughter of American Revolution), and in 2024-2025, had the pleasure in assisting her direct line 5th paternal Texas cousins, sons and grandson in researching and completing their successful application(s) proving they are SRT (Sons of The Republic of Texas), circa 1836.
